Waiting for a download so I am writing a blog.

I do not know what I want to say so this is true randomness. I have been thinking, after listening to Paul Washer, that the American Church reduction of the Gospel to this say this prayer is changing the focus from God to man. Paul Washer said something that I never realized but know that there was something wrong with getting people to say the sinners prayer. To clearify, I believe that people need to pray to God because they see that they have offended the true God but I am against having people repeat a prayer and then pronounce them saved. Paul Washer said what I have found in witnessing at the mall, people stake their eternity on a prayer that THEY said and not on the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. This is work righteousness and the more I think about it, the more I think that those people are not saved because they trust is wrongly placed. I did not say the "Sinner's Prayer" so does that mean I am not saved because I said a prayer. What Christ did on the cross will be fathomed but us humans and the fact that we degrade to a point that we have to say this prayer and no mattered what, we are saved. I am all for assurance of salvation but my assurance is in the Christ alone because of the atoning work on the cross. I took some advice from C.J. Mahaney's book A Cross-Centered Life, it is that we should preach the Gospel to ourselves everyday. What is more assuring that a wretched sinner has be saved by God to do God's work here on earth. The more and more I think about my life and how self-centered my life is, the more and more I see my need for Christ and a cross-centered life.

I have also been thinking about how can I celebrate Christmas rightly. When I figure it out, I will post.

I do not know what to say.

I have decided to write something but I do not have a clue and to keep my blog free of rants b/c they really do not do any good and do not edify the church. I could off on speeders and cheatin' cheaters. I did come across a new word, Zweiohrküken. It is German for chick with 2 ears. I am pretty sure that means nothing to anyone but again I do not know what I want to blog about. I guess I could talk a little about my trip to N.C. to visit some friends that I meet in England or the meat and cheese gyro that a group of friends decided to give a friend that was getting married. I guess I could talk about how funny it is when Facebook changes something because everyone get mad and changes their status and also create groups to get Facebook to go back. They never got the change they wanted.

No posty for long time.

I know I have not posted in awhile but I have a great excuse. I was in Crete doing what American GIs do in Crete, whatever we do. I will share some pics later at a different time. I have been slacking in my thing lately like reading my Bible, pray (which tends to be all the time), Studying, reading my Christian and anti-Emergent blogs, and listen to podcasts. In fact I need to read 112 blog posts and listen to 113 podcasts (I want everyone to know that podcasts in not a word in the world of Firefox web browser). I guess I am my work cut out for me. I also start my last 2 classes for my CCAF (so is CCAF) at the end of the month. Anyways, I need to grab clothes from dryer and get ready for the thing everyone calls work. I like to call a complete chaos in which I get a stick across my behind. I just looked chaos in the dictionary (which I misspelled by edit) to see if I spelled it right and it also means: "Greek Mythology the first created being, from which came the primeval deities Gaia, Tartarus, Erebus, and Nyx." Good to know, since I was just in Crete, Greece. Ok I am a little tired and trying to throw a blog post together to maintain my post everyday disaster, which I have failed 2 months in a row. I wish everyone a goodnight as I must attend to the Greek Mythology called chaos.
